Lewes manager Garry Wilson wants to iron out his side’s inconsistent form when they take on play-off chasers Kingstonian at the Dripping Pan on Saturday.
After impressively beating the top two sides in successive matches, the Rooks have now lost three of their last four matches following a poor 1-0 defeat away to second to bottom Carshalton Athletic on Tuesday night.
Lewes didn’t put the opposing goalkeeper under any pressure and at the other end, Jay Lovett headed a cross from Tommy Bradford into his own net for the 38th minute decisive goal.
Carshalton had an excellent opportunity to double their lead just before half-time, when Kingsley Aikhionbare was tripped in the penalty area after more hesitant Lewes defending.
Thankfully for the Rooks fans who had made the short journey to Surrey, keeper Rikki Banks dived to his left to keep out Billy Dunn’s spot-kick.
