Lewes' new striker looks set to start FA Cup clash
NEW SIGNING Evan Archibald could be thrown straight into Lewes' starting lineup for their FA Cup match with Leatherhead on tomorrow (Saturday).
The former Eastbourne Borough and Horsham player, who had been playing his football in Finland was praised by Rooks boss Steve Ibbitson after his performance against Arundel on Tuesday and looks set to make his home debut at the Dripping Pan.
Ibbitson said: "He looked very good when he was on, looked very sharp and could have scored a couple of goals, a couple of very good headers and I think a few more games under his belt he would put those away."
Danny Cullip is definitely out of the tie and is likely to be injured for another month. Fullback Ryan Timms also misses out, while Andy Pearson, injured in Saturday's defeat against Maidenbower is rated as very doubtful.
Dan Beck returns to the squad after a two-week holiday.
