An unstoppable Luke Blewden strike earned the Rooks a creditable point on their longest road trip of the season, writes Barry Collins.

The question occupying the fans’ minds on the long journey to Lowestoft was which Lewes side would turn up: the team that swaggered past league leaders Dulwich and Maidstone, or the team that capitulated to Grays and Hornchurch.

The answer was both. Despite the return of the ever-tenacious Jack Walder, Lewes started the game meekly, coming off second best in challenges and surrendering possession cheaply.
