Heathfield Road Runners had another excellent turnout at the second event in the East Sussex Sunday Cross Country League season for the Seaford Striders-hosted Warren Hill race, near Beachy Head.

The bright morning on Sunday November 11 provided ideal running conditions.

The 27 runners (including eight Uckfield Runners to make a combined team) took on the five-mile single-lap circuit over the Downs.

The combined team finished in fourth place and are currently ranked fourth in the league. First in was James Cox in fifth with a time of 29.07, just 2.05 minutes behind the leader.
