Four more players have put pen to paper to sign for Lewes next season.
The Lewes squad has been further strengthened with four signings including the retention of last season’s second highest scorer Ben Godfrey.
The quartet also includes a return to the Pan for Sam Crabb, Hastings United midfielder Tom Vickers and wide man Ross Treleaven.
The club confirmed the signings late last night.
Godfrey’s signature will be welcomed by the Rooks faithful and he provides added firepower to an already impressive looking front line, while Sam Crabb, who scored three goals in a 15-game stint for the Rooks in 2009 as a striker, finished last season as a right back under (Garry) Wilson and (Danny) Bloor at the Saffrons (home of Eastbourne Town).
His signing means Sam joins up with brothers Nathan and Matt in the Lewes playing ranks.
Former Brighton and Hove Albion youth team skipper Vickers, 19, operates as central midfielder and spent last season at the Pilot Field with Hastings United after being released by the Albion a year ago.
Highly-rated goalscoring winger Treleaven started his career with Crowborough and has subsequently featured for Worthing, Eastbourne Borough and Tonbridge Angels and Eastbourne Town.
Meanwhile, in pre-season friendly news, the Rooks’ home match against a Brighton and Hove Albion XI has been brought forward by 24 hours and will now take place on Tuesday July 23.
