Lewes have unveiled three more signings as the new Ryman Premier season grows ever nearer.
The club today announced: “Jacob Peake, Matt Armstrong-Ford and Jordan Stubbings have been added to the Lewes (squad) after signing registration forms last night.
“Midfielder Peake, who has been recently training with the Rooks, was released by Brighton and Hove Albion at the end of last season, also featured in Tuesday’s friendly at Leatherhead.
“Former Hastings United stopper Armstrong-Ford has signed as back up for first choice Rikki Banks while former U18 striker Jordan Stubbings, who missed the first part of pre-season due to an appendix operation, will also get a chance to prove his worth to (Garry) Wilson and (Danny) Bloor.
“Going in the other direction are Layton Schaaf and Joe Kay, who will both be playing their football away from the Pan next season and we thank them both for all their efforts at Lewes Football Club.”
The first game of the new season is tomorrow week (Saturday, August 10), with the Rooks away to AFC Hornchurch in a 3pm kick off.
