Europe’s most entertaining National Banger team, “The Bears”, who are based in Sussex, round off a hugely successful year, with a ‘Red Carpet’ Premiere of their new feature film in Brighton, on Sunday 29th November.

In a year that has seen them dominate the domestic scene with their entertaining racing, and be nominated for a total of five awards by local media, once again The Bears are looking to support the community from which they hail.

The film entitled “The Bears, Part:2” had been planned for a Christmas release on dvd, but organisers behind the project saw the opportunity to raise some more money for their chosen charity.

The almost two hour feature, is a light-hearted documentary following the guys, as they plan their massive charity meeting in the summer - The Bears Big Bash – to raise much needed funds for the Royal Alexandra Children’s Hospital.

With extensive footage from the day itself, we not only get to see what an incredibly successful event it was, breaking all records and raising over £20,000 for the hospital, but also what it took to put it on behind the scenes.

The film is boosted by multi-camera coverage of the action on the raceway from ‘The Bash’.

This is the first time in its sixty year history that the delights and entertainment of the sport will be shown on the ‘Big Screen’.

“When they heard we were planning a charity premiere, we were asked by local promoters to have the big reveal in other towns around the country”, said Bears team Captain Nigel Riley. “But where else could we hold it than in Sussex where we all come from?”

“The senior management at Cineworld Brighton Marina were kind enough to offer us their facilities, and so we jumped at the opportunity.”

“Being a large cinema, allows plenty of our fans to come down and share this special event with us.”

All proceeds from the Premiere will be once again going to The Bears’ chosen children’s charity, Rockinghorse, the charitable arm of The Royal Alexandra Children’s Hospital in Sussex.

With tickets costing £6 each, or four for just £20, why not support The Bears as they seek to raise more monies for such a worthy cause.

Tickets can be purchased by ringing The Bears on 01273 306479 or by emailing michaelburnage@hotmail.com.

Venue: Cineworld, Brighton Marina.
