Simon Wormull is hoping to have as many fit players as possible in the vital run-in to the Rooks’ season.
The Rooks travel to Harrow Borough tomorrow before visiting Cray on Tuesday night as they continue their battle to avoid relegation.
If their fate is not sealed one way or another by then, their season will all come down to one last massive game at home to Bury Town tomorrow week.
And manager Wormull said after Saturday’s home defeat to Leiston that his work this week would mainly be in trying to ‘nurse’ his injured and walking wounded players through the last three games.
He said: “To be honest with you, I think it’s more about getting players back. I think we’ve got five or six injuries that we’ve been playing and trying to nurse through. We’ve got people who are injured that we’re trying to get fit for Saturday.
“So it’s probably going to be one of those where we have a bit of a light session, because obviously we play Saturday-Tuesday-Saturday next week – and it’s a big big week for the club.”
