Buxted Park have had a brilliant weekend of wins in competitions last week.
A strong Lewes team headed to Hampshire to compete in the Charloteville 50-mile time trial based around Bentley.
The local time trial scene was thrilled to have both a national champion and a 2012 Olympic Gold medallist competing over the weekend – in the SCA 10 and 25 mile events, expertly organised by Mike Anton of the East Grinstead Cycling Club.
The men’s 1st team at Seaford Tennis Club again proved best in Sussex.
The newly relaunched Golf Academy at Piltdown Golf Club had a promising beginning on Saturday April 13.
Last weekend saw an action-packed racing programme for members of the Lewes Wanderers Cycling Club as they lined up for the 10 and 25 mile events run on consecutive days by the East Sussex Cycling Association (ESCA).
It is the Sussex Hockey Men’s Cup Finals weekend this weekend, and Lewes have two teams in their respective finals, being played on the water based pitch at East Grinstead.
A welcome taste of spring set a welcome backdrop for the second of Lewes Wanderers Cycling Club’s competitions, the Circuit of Danehill.
Once again Wealden Bowls Club Finals weekend produced a memorable mixture of close finishes, fighting comebacks and above all a very high standard of bowling.
