Heathfield’s Zofia is a silver superstar

FSK Kickboxing Club’s Zofia Malewicz won a superb silver medal at the ISKA World Amateur Championships in the Light Continuous Ladies +63kg division.

The ISKA World Amateur Championships were held in Valkenberg, Holland with Zofia fighting on the last day of the tournament.

The last section of the championships saw Zofia fighting in the Light continuous Ladies +63kg division.

Zofia got through to the final to lose to her German opponent for the title. The last fight of the night saw Zofia fight really well over 2 x 2 minute rounds.

Her German opponent who is usually a full contact fighter was just a little bit too experienced and strong during the second round and got the better of Zofia.

A silver medal for FSK’s Zofia Malewicz. Zofia said ‘it was a tough final but a real learning experience’.
