Rowland replaces Shearing at The Oaks
Wealden FC have wasted no time in finding a replacement for Hailsham Town-bound Dave Shearing and last night announced that former Uckfield Town boss Simon Rowland would be taking over as manager "with immediate effect".
A club statement added that information on the club's "other plans will follow next week".
And Eastbourne Borough have also moved quickly to replace former Crowborough joint boss Simon Colbran, who took over as manager at Worthing last week.
The Priory Lane outfit have appointing former Lewes player and coach Steve Eke as assistant first team coach.
