Eagles eye new commercial boss as Macdonald departs
Eastbourne Eagles have announced they are looking for a new commercial manager to replace Chris Macdonald, who has left the club.
A spokesman for the Eagles paid tribute to Mr Macdonald for his “innovative commercial initiatives” at the club.
A statement said: “We are disappointed that Chris Macdonald has decided to relinquish the position of commercial manager for the Eastbourne Eagles.
He has made a big contribution to the club and we sincerely thank him for all the work he has done.”

At the annual meeting of the speedway promoters’ association, Eastbourne came joint third in the track-of-the-year competition.
The award is voted on by referees who give marks on each visit to the circuit.
