Wealden district officers found more than 700 cannabis plants when they raided an address in Uckfield today, October 11.
They were executing a search warrant under the Misuse of Drugs Act in Princes Close.
Local officers were joined by colleagues from Eastbourne and assisted by employees of EDF Energy for the 11.30 a.m raid.
They found evidence of cannibas production on a large scale.
A man was arrested for production of controlled substances and abstracting electricity.
Uckfield-based Inspector Richard Allum said: "This was an excellent result which stemmed from some very good investigative police work. I am extremely pleased that the cannabis will not reach those it was intended for."
