Renowned international artist Angela Gaughan is visiting Newhaven on Sunday, November 24, for an art demonstration.
She will be at Paradise Park from 10am to 4pm and is set to showcase her brand new book, Wild Animals in Acrylics, as well.
In her book Angela shows aspiring artists everything they need to paint exotic and exciting wild animals in acrylics. The outline drawings for each project are provided as pull-out tracings that can be used again and again and Angela will be on hand to demonstrate this throughout the day.
Angela Gaughan was born and educated in Wales, where she studied portrait with Andrew Vicari, a former student of the prestigious Slade School of Art.
She is renowned for her commissioned portraits and wildlife studies.
Angela works exhibits regularly, with many of her paintings in private collections all over the world. She has demonstrated for Daler Rowney and the Artist and Leisure Painter magazines. Angela is president and founder member of the Tamworth society of Artists; a professional Associate member of the Society for All Artists and a regular contributor to the Leisure Painter magazine.
