Brighton Voices to sing at historic Lewes chapel

One of the best community choirs on the South Coast will visit Lewes on Saturday, April 5, for an afternoon concert in support of the town’s Oyster Project charity.

Conductor Nick Andrews brings his choir Brighton Voices and celebrated soloist soprano Synne Laastad-Dyvik to the historic Westgate Chapel.

In what is billed as a “concert of beautiful choral music with tea and cakes”, refreshments will be supplied by the Chapel Cafe before and after the event. Tickets are just £5 and available online at http://brightonvoices.inthechapel.org.uk or on the door (subject to availability).

Organiser John Russell said: “It’s great Nick, Synne and the choir are supporting the Oyster Project in this way. It promises to be a fabulous concert and we know that afternoon concerts are becoming more and more popular.”
