Hastings Sinfonia in St Leonards

Hastings Sinfonia will be performing again on Saturday, January 31 2015 from 7.30pm at St John the Evangelist Church, in Brittany Road, St Leonards.

The orchestra consists of local talented amateur and professional musicians, who meet twice a month throughout the year.

The conductor is Derek Carden who travels from London especially to conduct the Hastings Sinfonia and the leader is professional violinist and teacher Peter Fields - who has played in many of the great English Orchestras.

Guest soloists include Lithuanian tenor Gediminas Varna, who studied at La Scala and has performed worldwide including New York and Milan, Thomasin Trezise, professional soprano from Brighton who is currently touring with Glyndebourne and Polo Piatti, local composer and concert pianist well-known for his evocative interpretations and ground breaking classical improvisations.

Tickets are only £8 in advance or £10 at the door, children under the age of 12 are free.
