THE LONDON Chorus will perform a piece at the Brighton Festival which was created by an Anglican priest and a Buddhist writer.
Choral work Dhammapada, meaning the path of true light, is the product of choral composer and priest Ronald Corp and Buddhist writer Francis Booth.
It contains the words of the Buddha, compiled by his followers after his death, and his key messages.
The piece is described as being of exceptional beauty and spirituality, but without being religious - a manual for living a good life.
The concert will take place at St Batholomew’s Church, Ann Street, on Saturday May 5 at 7pm.
Tickets cost £9. For more information visit www.londonchorus.org.uk or www.brigtonfestivalfringe.org.uk.
