A West Sussex record label is holding auditions and launching its Christmas compilation in Worthing.
On Friday, December 2, record label and music management company Freedom Zoom Records will be holding an all-day event at Club Seven at The Burlington Hotel.
The company invite you to audition during the day and then party the night away at their Christmas celebration launching some of their new artists and a brand-new Christmas compilation CD.
From 11am to 5pm, Freedom Zoom will be holding auditions to discover new artists who are keen to work alongside the label to get their music recorded and out in the public domain. They are looking for all genres of music, solo artists, bands and musicians.
Mike Pailthorpe, director of A&R for Freedom Zoom, said: “We’re building a locally-owned, locally-based record label and music management company in Worthing. We are taking the way Tamla Motown operated, with teams of composers, producers and artists.
“They used to work together like a family, supporting and helping each other develop, and that’s what we are doing. These auditions are a chance for artists to show their potential, to meet the team and see whether we can work together. We’re a small, developing company, so we can’t take on many new artists at this stage.
“What we can do is concentrate on developing successful careers with those who have the talent and the dedication required in a competitive industry.”
Contact Freedom Zoom as soon as possible for an audition slot at www.freedomzoom.co.uk and follow the link through to the application form.
During the evening, Freedom Zoom launch straight into the FZ Christmas Party, also at Club Seven.
“Party tickets are limited so make sure you book early. Don’t chance it on the door. Doors open at 8pm party closes at 1am. Tickets are £6 from www.freedomzoom.co.uk.”
