Ferocious Dog bring their own take on traditional Celtic folk to The Haunt in Pool Valley, Brighton, on Saturday, May 9.

The musicians take the traditional instruments – fiddles, whistles and mandolins – and mix them up with a bit of, raw, buzz saw rock ’n’ roll attitude.

With their unique, aggressive, yet feel-good music they tear up venues across the country often bringing their faithful Hell Hounds along for the ride.

Their new guitarist is Les Carter of the Unstoppable Sex Machine fame (frequently shortened to Carter USM).

Carter USM headlined Glastonbury, The Pyramid Stage, in 1992 and Ken and Dan were there in the audience...and now he’s a member of Ferocious Dogs.

The band made history this year by becoming the only unsigned act to ever sell out the Rescue Rooms in Nottingham, not only once but twice.

With a successful 2014 autumn tour including sold-out shows, and with their new guitarist, 2015 is already looking bright.

Doors open at 7pm.

Tickets cost £10 in advance. Email the box office at info@thehauntbrighton.co.uk or visit www.thehauntbrighton.co.uk.
