Two Wings flying south

THE Needlemakers in Lewes is the venue on June 9 for a concert by Glasgow-based contemporary folk group Two Wings.

They are hitting the road south touring their debut record ‘Love’s Spring’ in the UK throughout June.

Two Wings are said to be rooted in folk rock and blues “that reminds us why we fell in love with Fleetwood Mac, Richard Thompson, Jethro Tull and Eric Clapton”. The group promises to tread the musical territories of the UK’s finest musicians both sucessfully and refreshingly.

Ever present are subtle nods towards traditional folk music with lead vocals akin to Kate Bush and Joanna Newsom.
