The 1066 Cycle Club and East Sussex CTC are organising an on-road cycle ride in aid of the proposed Battle Health Pathway, an all-weather track around Battle Recreation Ground for walkers, runners, cyclists and push chairs

The on-road cycle ride, to be held on Sunday September 13, has two distances; 50Km and 100km and both routes include a fair number of climbs. Organisers say it’s an affordable and fun event. To enter costs £5 for the 50km ride and £8 for the 100km.

The event is open to all and there will be refreshments available before and after the ride.

The ride commences at Battle Recreation Ground, North Trade Road, TN33 0HA, between 9-11 am. Cyclists entering from out of town are advised that there is no car parking at the recreation ground and to use town centre car parks or on-street street parking and Battle train station is a short distance away.
