An Evening of Burlesque is heading to the Pavilion Theatre, Worthing, on Saturday, November 16, at 8pm.

Direct from London’s West End, Europe’s biggest touring burlesque show offers award-winning talent from across the country.

It’s an opportunity to see some of the world’s biggest burlesque stars in the flesh.

Theatregoers are promised corsets, killer heels and stockings aplenty.

Show producer Michael Taylor said: “An Evening of Burlesque features an all-star cast of beautiful and elegant performers.”

“It’s all tease, no sleaze,” said Michael, “and for that reason audiences are predominantly female.”

Bringing variety back to the theatre, the show’s combination of musical and theatrical parody, magic and comedy with the art of striptease saw its 2012 UK tour enjoy rave reviews.

Stars of An Evening of Burlesque can include:

l Amber Topaz – the Yorkshire Tease.

l The Folly Mixtures – a burlesque quartet choreographed to thrill.

l Ivy Paige – the evening’s most welcoming compere.

l Miss Ooh La Lou – described as Police Academy dream babe, a bit Britney, a bit Goldie Hawn.

l Bettsie Bon Bon – trained in hip hop and street dance, she’s sauce, tease, glamour and naughtiness personified.

l Liberty Sweet – sensuous and graceful, a nimble vamp, trained at the Royal Academy of Dance.

l AJ James – experience gravity-defying feats of balance, involving knife juggling.

l Kalki Hula Girl – her show-stealing hula-hoop performances defy both the laws of gravity and impossibility.

An Evening of Burlesque is for over-18s only.

Dress to impress

Michael Taylor said: “Throughout the UK, at every venue on our 70-date tour, the fairer sex make up the majority of our audiences.”

The production now offers a ‘burlesque-tastic’ surprise prize for the best-dressed member of the audience on the night.

“We would like to reward the most glamorously-dressed person with a prize they’ll treasure forever.”

Tickets for this stunning show cost £22.
