When Edinburgh is over and performers from the world of comedy are limping back to reality... Brighton is already gearing up for the next big party.
Brighton Comedy Festival, which runs from Friday, October 10, to Saturday, October 25, is the second biggest comedy festival in the UK after the fringe.
This year comedy favourites Jon Richardson, Simon Amstell and Dave Gorman, among many others, will be delighting audiences with their high brow wit, bonhomie and raconteur.
The Brighton Dome, Corn Exchange, Studio Theatre, Komedia and The Old Market will open their doors for three weeks where the cosmopolitan seaside town will see the crème de la crème of stand up comedy.
Many more acts are to be announced, but the line up so far is an exciting melee of comedy genius. Tom Stade, Katherine Ryan, Jason Cook, Marcus Brigstocke, Bridget Christie, Tony Law, James Acaster, Jason Byrne, and Seann Walsh are just a few of the delights. Visit www.brightoncomedyfestival.com.
