Calling all LGBT shower singers

The Rainbow Chorus is holding a New Member Night on Monday, January 12, at St George’s Church, St Georges Road, Kemp Town.

This is a chance to experience a typical rehearsal evening with the chorus and find out if you would like to join (no auditions necessary).

A spokesperson for the group said: “We know you are out there, belting out all the show tunes and Glee numbers in the privacy of your bathrooms. Come and dip your toe in our water!

“The Rainbow Chorus is growing in number and in acclaim. Recent performances at Trans Memorial Day, World AIDS Day and Bring on the Baubles winter concert were all critically praised and enjoyed by live audiences.

“However we are all amateurs, professionally led by our vivacious MD Aneesa Chaudhary and virtuoso pianist Mojca Monte.

“While we are keen to recruit more basses and baritones, all are welcome to come and feel the warmth in the Rainbow Chorus!”

The gathering starts at 7.15pm (doors open at 7pm).

This evening is free to new joiners. A monthly membership fee applies if you choose to join the chorus.
