Henfield Theatre Company take to the stage this week with Mack and Mabel.
The show tells the story of Mack Sennett, the silent movie director, and Mabel Normand, a New York waitress he discovered and made the most popular movie star of the day.
It traces their relationship from unpromising beginnings, via love, success and scandal to its moving finale. Peter Ingledew plays Mack and Helen Schulter plays Mabel.
