Louis Pearl visits Worthing’s Connaught Theatre on Thursday, April 4 with his one-man bubble-show, The Amazing Bubble Man.
A popular performer at Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Louis has enjoyed six years of sold-out shows in which he explores the curious dynamics of bubbles and the fun they can create. Now he will introduce Worthing audiences of all ages to the joy of bubbles.
Louis combines comedy and artistry with plenty of audience participation. There are scientific bubble facts woven through the show, illustrated by bubble tricks designed to keep every child and adult enthralled.
Louis has been bubbling professionally since 1980 when he started Tangent Toy Company. He began performing in 1983 with his first bubble show at the Exploratorium in San Francisco. He has since written two books about bubbles, made a video called Lights, Camera, Bubbles! and has so far created 21 bubble inventions.
From square bubbles, bubbles inside bubbles, fog-filled bubbles, giant bubbles, bubble volcanoes, bubble tornados and bubble trampolines to people inside bubbles, The Amazing Bubble Man showcases a world of bubble-inspired magic live on stage.
