Brighton Dome hosts the premiere of award-winning company Paines Plough’s new production, London.
Spokeswoman Nicola Jeffs said: “This is the third time the company will have graced the stage at Brighton Dome in the last year. They return this time with two heart-wrenching stories about the choices we make for family and the precious things we love.
“London was written by Olivier Award-winning playwright Simon Stephens. It is a new project incorporating the critically-acclaimed SEA WALL and T5, both of which are set in the nation’s capital.
“Playwright Simon Stephen’s productions include Harper Regan at the National Theatre, Punk Rock at Lyric Hammersmith and Marine Parade which premiered at Brighton Festival in 2010.”
Nicola added: “Paines Plough is an award-winning, nationally and internationally-renowned touring theatre company, specialising exclusively in commissioning and producing new plays and helping playwrights develop their craft.” The show is on Friday and Saturday, October 26 and 27 October at 8pm (doors 7.45pm).
