Breakwater Performers are holding their first performance – a comedy murder mystery entitled ‘Death on the Prom’ – on Friday, November 29.
Held at the Goring Conservative Club in Worthing, with doors opening at 7.15pm, the murder mystery is set in the ‘roaring twenties’ and focuses on the Balderdash family who are holidaying by the sea.
Unfortunately their stay coincides with the gruesome murder of Eustace Tait, an arts and antiquities dealer. One of the family killed him but who and why?
Members of the audience become sleuths for the night, questioning the characters in a special session and submitting their guesses before the murderer is revealed.
Director Stevie Lambert said: “Murder is a dish best served cold, which is why we are providing a three-course cold buffet for the audience.”
Tickets for the show are £20 each with funds going towards Breakwater Performers’ future activities including productions.
The group would be grateful if people could purchase tickets and advise of any special dietary requirements by Wednesday, November 20.
Breakwater Performers would like to thank Marlene Tincknell and the Lancing Repertory Players for kindly lending costumes for the murder mystery.
