Tall Stories, the theatre company who created The Gruffalo and Room on the Broom, invites families to join them at Worthing’s Connaught Theatre for their latest song-filled show, My Brother the Robot, on Tuesday, April 9.

The new production, based on an original story by the show’s director Toby Mitchell, forms the third in Tall Stories’ educational, science-inspired series following How the Giraffe got its Neck and Twinkle Twonkle.

My Brother the Robot is set in the future where a little girl called Bobbie lives with her inventor dad in a house filled with technology. Bobbie and her dad have everything they need until one day, Bobbie announces that she is lonely and she wishes she had a little brother.

Bobbie’s dad locks himself away in his lab and works day and night to create a robot brother for Bobbie. The little girl loves playing with her new brother and explains to him how the world works. But when Bobbie’s life is in danger, it seems only her robot brother might be able to save her.

The show looks at the future of technology, artificial intelligence and the science of robotics by using storytelling, original music and lots of laughs to make the afternoon suitable for everyone aged four and over.

Tickets: £10.50 (adult), £8.50 (child), £3 (family of four).

The show starts at 12pm and 3pm. Call 01903 206 206 or visit www.worthingtheatres.co.uk
