Northbrook College student 21-year-old Nick Brittain is organising a cabaret evening at Bar Release, Worthing, on May 12 to fund his further studies.

Tickets on 07952 543621 are £5 for students and concessions, £8 otherwise for the night which starts at 7pm at the venue at 20 Chapel Road, Worthing.

“The night will include a variety of cabaret-style songs, mixed between pop classics, musical theatre, Disney and more. There will be a raffle on the day as well and, of course, cocktails on offer from the lovely Bar Release staff!”

Nick has been accepted at LSMT (London School of Musical Theatre).

“It’s a course designed to take musical theatre performers and introduce them into the industry. It has been my goal and dream for a long time now to perform on stage as a career, and now I am so much closer to achieving my ambition! Unfortunately, I am not able to gain government funding, and I need to raise the sum of £13,900 by mid-July to be able to attend the school in September.

“To raise this money, I need all the help I can get. Please come to my show on Sunday, May 12, and/or if you can spare anything, you can donate to my fund online at www.gofundme.com/2iv19s.”
