Two international wrestlers top the bill at the Summer Spectacular at the Assembly Hall in Worthing on July 25.
Erin Angel and Rhia O’Reilly lead the grappling action in an evening which also features the annual battle for the Worthing Rumblemania Trophy.
The two female wrestlers star in a rematch of their contest last year which saw flame-haired O’Reilly gain an unpopular decision over the petite former Young Wrestler of the Year from Southampton.
Since their previous meeting, Angel, who is also known as Little Miss Dynamite, has wrestled in Canada and spent a month on tour for former WWE star Rene Dupree’s Atlantic Grand Prix promotion, during which she wrestled in New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island as well as clashing with top Canadian star She Nay Nay.
Meanwhile O’Reilly has made a series of appearances in America and Europe.
During the rest of the evening in Worthing, the stars fighting for the trophy which has been sponsored by The Oval Racing Club, will be Dazzling Darrell Allen, masked wrestler Vortex as well as Jimmy Meadows and Jack Starzz from the Robbie Brookside Training Academy.
Wrestling promoter John Freemantle says: “The fur is sure to fly when the girls get to grips in their special rematch.
“The show will also include two tag-team bouts in the run-up to the Rumblemania Trophy where wrestlers are eliminated by being thrown out of the ring over the top rope and the last man standing is the winner.”
