Unexpected intrusions in ‘doomed scenario’

Have your say

Hailsham Theatres present Roleplay on Friday, September 6, and Saturday, September 7.

Justin and Julie-Ann are about to introduce their respective parents to each other over dinner – Justin’s upper-crust alcoholic mother from Surrey, and Julie-Ann’s bigoted Yorkshire father and prim mother. Into this doomed scenario ‘drops’ Paige Petite, a former lap-dancer, and her thick, gun-toting minder who is employed by her violent boyfriend.

Alan Ayckbourn’s Roleplay is on at Summerheath Hall, Hailsham in the evenings at 7.30pm with a 2.30pm Saturday matinee. Tickets cost £8.50 (concessions available) for all performances apart from the Saturday Meal Night when the price is £16 (concessions available) and includes a three-course meal.
