A WORTHING woman has told a national newspaper she regrets taking part in a hit television makeover show.
Julie Davis, of Castle Close, appeared on Channel 4 programme 10 Years Younger last year, when she had surgery on her face and cosmetic dentistry.

At the time, she featured in the Herald and said she was pleased with her new, more youthful appearance.

But in an interview with the Daily Mail at the weekend, the 46-year-old said she had been left in constant pain since 10 veneers were fitted on her teeth and regretted ever going on the show.

She said: "Because of the veneers, I have to endure the embarrassment of drinking coffee through a straw. I can't enjoy a nice glass of wine, and I can't even stay outside if it's cold or breezy because my teeth hurt so much.

"Although my new teeth look fine, I don't feel they belong to me. My teeth feel like they are trapped in some sort of vice-like device and the daily pain I am experiencing is crippling."

Julie, a mother-of-three, claims she is now considering the drastic measure of having all her teeth taken out and replaced with dentures, because she can't cope with the pain any more.

She said: "Nothing is worth the pain I'm in and the stress I've gone through. I no longer care if I look 35 or 55 – I simply want to feel like a normal human being again."
