FOR two days amateurs and stunt flyers will be delighting the crowds for Worthing Birdman.
Saturday, July 5

1.30pm to 2.30pm – serious aviators in the Leonardo da Vinci and Condor classes will have the chance of a test flight before the main event on Sunday, July 6.

A quieter day for those who would prefer to see some of the action with smaller crowds.

Sunday, July 6

1.50pm to 3.50pm – Fun flyers in the Kingfisher class will join the more serious flyers in their bid for glory.

As well as the fun on the pier, there will be a Punch and Judy, face painting and other entertainment.

4pm — The finale of the event will be a stunt aircraft demonstration over the sea, to the west of the pier.

4.45pm — Prize-giving ceremony for the flyers, taking place near the Lido.

12.45pm to 1.50pm and 3.50pm onwards – Worthing band Outcry will be performing on stage at the Lido.

Band signer and guitarist Andy Shepherd will also be jumping in the Kingfisher class in aid of Worthing Churches Homeless Projects.
