Mr Adams, of Howard Street, Worthing, has been watching the planets in the night sky for a number of weeks.
On Monday, December 1, he took these six photographs as the planets became visible.
Using Mr Adams own guide the images are:
1. Taken at 16:30 from the pier - Jupiter is just visible above the moon.
2. A closer view of Jupiter and the Moon. Venus is behind the Moon at this point.
3. Taken at 16:51. The sky is darker, but still no sign of Venus.
4. Venus making an appearance at 17:29.
5. Similar to above.
6. Taken at 18:12, Venus and the Moon are slightly further apart.
