Herald readers had their cameras at the ready during last night's storm (Wednesday, August 6)
Samantha Nighy, Gerald Heath, Jeff Brooks and Paul Morgan took these photographs, while artist and photographer Jamie Stokes captured the storm on video.

Paul Morgan said: "It was a fantastic storm and I took over 200 shots. I got wet taking the photos."
