IF YOU fancy becoming the talk of the town then one Peacehaven man wants to hear from you.
Cliff Parker, 36, of Stanley Road, has set up a podcast-radio show for people living in Telscombe Cliffs and Peacehaven.

Cliff said: 'I am just getting together a local radio station for the area because there is nothing like it around here.

'There are a lot in Brighton but none specifically for Peacehaven and Telscombe Cliffs.

'It is basically a podcast with the aim of bringing the community together.'

Cliff said he would interview people and get them to speak about the area.

'We will bradcast a 30 minute show every month and will have to get a little bit of advertising but not much.

'Mostly it would eb local people talking about local things.'

Cliff has started the show, Havencliffs Podcast (Peacehaven & Telscombe Cliffs Radio), from his study in his Peacehaven home and fits it in between night shifts as a ward nurse.

He said: 'I am a complete amateur, I have just been listening to a lot of podcasts and thought 'I could do that'.

'I am really passionate about how local radio should be and excited about getting this off the ground.'

The format for the show is set to include information about local clubs and events and entertainment in the area as well as interviews with local people with something to say.
