A night of Hendrix and Cream at Horsham

Paying tribute to both Hendrix and Cream - Voodoo Room are a high energy '˜Power Trio' of Pete Orr, John Tonks and Andy Tolman, featuring some of the UK's finest musicians and they will be performing at The Capitol in Horsham on Saturday February 6 at 7.30pm.

Pete Orr has been thrilling audiences throughout the UK and Europe for the past three decades mashing up classic riff based rock anthems with the energy and style evocative of their time.

His jaw dropping solos and epic vocal styling’s have wowed all those lucky enough to have seen this true virtuoso inject new life into the classics.

John Tonks is a leading U.K. session drummer. His superlative touring and recording credits include: Duran Duran, Fish, Thunder, The Streets, Steve Winwood, Lulu, Chris Difford, Paul Young, Thea Gilmore and Tricky. When John is not available he is covered by Pete Turtle or Tony Kiley.

Both are superlative drummers who’s playing credits include Chris DeBurgh, Push, Marlena Shaw, The Blow Monkeys and lots more!

Andy Tolman started playing the bass in 1988 and his first major influence was Jack Bruce. Moving from blues to jazz Andy was influenced by players such as Jaco Pastorius and this love of jazz led him to study at the Royal Academy of Music, graduating in 1997.

His stunning bass technique and sublime groove is making him the first call for visiting US artists such as Ben E. King, Rodriguez, The Emotions, Leon Ware.

He has also featured on recording sessions with Micheal Kamen, Sir George Martin and Alfie Boe.

When touring commitments prevent Andy being available Steven Oates or John Currie take over bass duties. Both are amazing players who have played with Big Boy Bloater, The Drifters, plus many more.
