Abstract work which
explores light and shade

The ‘Longman’ (pictured), drawn by Felicity Truscott for her short-listed entry into the prestigious Jerwood Drawing Prize just last year, is on show at the blackShed Gallery, Robertsbridge from September 31 to October 12.

Felicity graduated from Edinburgh College of Art in 1992 and has exhibited continually throughout the south-east as well as more widely around the UK.

Her first solo show in 12 months includes 15 new drawings that are thought by most to be inspired by the landscape.

However, Felicity herself does not consider herself to be a drawer of landscape, as here work is abstract in nature.

The blackShed Gallery is open Tuesday to Saturday, 10am to 4pm.
