Citing everyone from Blondie, The Cult, The Clash to ’70s glam rock as major influences, the band are powered by the soulful vocals of Tracy Woodbridge and the crashing hard-rock sounds of guitarist Jim Darley.

Jim said: “Combined with one of the tightest rhythm sections around, bassist Dobs O’Brien and drummer Graham Simcox, Alligator Smile have quickly re-established themselves as a major draw on the local music circuit.”

After playing their first gig in over a decade at Cheers Bar in Bognor Regis in April, the band will be returning to the venue once again on today (Monday 27) from 4pm. Admission is free.

The band, who are planning to make some festival appearances next year, have just recorded a demo of brand-new material at Ford Lane Studios, and will also be appearing at The Four Chesnuts, Chichester, on Saturday, September 15.
