Annual visit to DLWP for orchestra
The highly acclaimed East Sussex Youth Orchestra returns to the De La Warr Pavilion on Saturday July 25 for its Annual Gala concert sponsored again this year by the RNLI.
The concert, which starts at 7pm, will include the ever popular Sibelius 2nd Symphony.
The orchestra offers students the highest level of performing opportunities within the East Sussex Music Service, with performances at prestigious venues at home and abroad. In 2014 the orchestra celebrated its 35th Anniversary with a seven day international tour during August – taking the orchestra to perform at the Leipzig music festival in Germany, in the wonderfully historic city of Prague in the Czech Republic, in the beautiful palace in Kromeriz (where the film Amadeus was filmed) and the fantastic National Radio Concert Hall in Bratislava, Slovakia.
