Artwave Festival artists line up in and around Lewes
The Cowshed will be open for this year’s Artwave Festival, promising a “fantastic collection of artists and makers showing beautiful art and objects for sale in an amazing rural setting just north of Lewes.”
The venue is open for the first three weekends in September from 11am-5.30pm: Saturday 5, Sunday 6, Saturday 12, Sunday 13, Saturday 19 and Sunday 20.
“We will also be open for midweek viewings by appointment only for people who are anxious about meeting others in a public space,” says Faye Bridgwater who is among the artists, “At the weekends we are open to visitors at the stated times, and social distancing measures will be in place. Thankfully The Cowshed has plenty of space and fresh air!
“We have a large courtyard and garden which will play host to The Vintage Tin, a charming cafe/bar unit serving tea, coffee, cakes and local wines.
“During the week, visits are by appointment only. Please email [email protected] or text 07946 515565 to reserve your spot for a personally guided tour of the gallery.”
Faye added: “We have an extraordinary line-up of artists and makers this year and hope that you will be able to come along and support them while indulging yourself with what promises to be a feast for the soul!”
