Artists asked to submit their work for hospice

St Michael’s Hospice is looking for artists to exhibit and sell work at the 16th Summer Art Exhibition in memory of Stuart Farndale.

The exhibition is on June 27/28, 10.30-6pm, at the Arthur Easton Centre in St Leonards. Entrance will be £1, which will include a catalogue.

With 16 years’ experience, the Summer Art Exhibition is always a worthwhile event, last year raising £2616 for the hospice.

All artists are welcome to submit four framed paintings at £2 each and four unframed paintings at £1.50 each, with 20% of all sales going to the Hospice - the deadline for submissions is Friday June 19.

Sue Farndale, former Hospice Fundraiser at the St Michael’s Hospice, said: “Sixteen years ago my husband Stuart organised the first ever Summer Art exhibition at the Hospice. Stuart continued to hold the exhibition each year until he sadly passed away eight years ago. I am delighted that the exhibition has continued to be held each year since in his memory.” For further information or to send in submissions, please contact Amanda on 01424 456371 or [email protected]
