THE world's greatest secret agent is back this summer in Danger Mouse Saves The World, playing every Monday at Bunn Leisure holiday park, Selsey.

Open to the public, the show stars Matt Pomeroy as the mouse in question.

The tale pits Dangerous Mouse and his trusty bumbling sidekick hamster together on stage to carry out assignments given to them by Colonel K, their commander/walrus.

As Matt explains, it’s all about saving the world from evil and villainy. especially when it comes from their arch enemy, a megalomaniac frog, named Baron Silas Greenback, aided and abetted by his henchman crow, Stiletto.

“Danger Mouse is a superhero, saving the world. The evil Greenback is out to stop him. In the cartoon, the toad is always behind the desk, but here is he live on stage. He’s scary.

“Danger Mouse is not a superhero like Spiderman spinning his webs. He’s just very clever and smart - though his sidekick just messes it all up really!”

Matt is based at Bunn Leisure, a key part of their character shows.

“I was at stage school and I have done a lot of stuff. I was in Cyprus as a singer last year. I was a redcoat before that, at Minehead, but this is definitely the biggest job I have had so far.

“I have been here since the start of the season, and it is an amazing place to work”, Matt says. “I can’t think of anywhere that has got the range of characters and the quality of characters that we have got here.”

Danger Mouse Saves The World will be performed every Monday until August 30.
