CHURCH organists from Hastings and Bexhill met at St Leonards Parish Church on October 14 for the second recital of the season.

The contributors were Frank Jenkins (St. Peter's Church, Bohemia Road, Hastings), Rowena Kempner (Hollington, Church in the Wood), Douglas Harvey (Robertson Street URC., Hastings) and Paul Abnett (St Andrew's Church, Bexhill).

The programme consisted of a mixture of both classical and modem organ music, ideally suited to the Morgan and Smith instrument, which has been in regular use since 1955.

The November meeting is the annual members' luncheon and visitors are welcome to come to join in worship at a musical carol service, to be held at St Andrew's Church, Bexhill, on December 9 at 7.30pm.
