Bexhill & District Organists' and Choirmasters' Association

After a buffet supper, the society welcomed Michael and Judith Walsh, who played their guitars to organ accompaniment. The organists were invited to include improvisation in the hymn singing session.

The music was chosen from "Songs of Fellowship", which includes both traditional and modern hymns, many of which have been edited to suit the requirements of guitarists.

The combination of the guitar strings with flute organ accompaniment provided an interesting orchestral sound. The minister, Rev Andrew Birch, thanked the contributors.

The next meeting is in Holy Week, on March 19, 7.30pm at St Peter's Church, Bohemia. It will include a Compline worship.
