Bexhill Down Afternoon Townswomen's Guild

Reading for Pleasure members met on January 16 and Social Studies on January 23.

Visitors and new members will be welcome at the February meeting, February 13, 2pm, at the Friends Meeting House, Albert Road.

The year 2008 marks the 80th anniversary of equal suffrage in British elections for women over 21, from which Townswomen's Guilds were formed. East Sussex Federation of Townswomen's Guilds will also celebrate its 50th anniversary this year, and there will be many events celebrating both anniversaries.
