WATER in the Developing World will be John Fowler's theme when he addresses a free, public meeting, organised by Bexhill and Hastings United Nations Association on Saturday, February 28.

Mr Fowler, a Christian Aid worker and former Kenyan farmer, will illustrate his subject with human stories.

One of the IN's eight Millennium Development Goals is to ensure full environmental sustainability by 2015.

This includes halving the proportion of people in the world who lack clean drinking water and sanitation.

The talk will be given in Parkhurst Hall, Parkhurst Road, at 11am.

Coffee and tea and biscuits will be available from 10.45am.
