When Mark, a teacher, asked builder’s yard worker Stuart if he fancied forming a drag act, Stuart really wasn’t keen but with a bit of gentle persuasion he was convinced and Brenda and Bernie were born.

Funky Buddha general manager, Louise Jeffery, said: “We are very excited to host the Bosom Buddies in Hastings, we are aiming to diversify our entertainment for the people of the town and really look forward to welcoming this unique act.”

Tickets will be available at the venue or by email at [email protected].

The Bosom Buddies shot to fame after getting four Yes votes during the heats of ITV’s Britain’s Got Talent in 2013.
