“Countertenors Nathan Medley and Steven Rickards are leading exponents of music from the English Baroque. They have performed all over the world, including at the BBC Prom Concerts. Nathan played Oberon in Britten’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Ottone in Monteverdi’s L’incoronazione di Poppea, and sang in masterclasses with Dame Emma Kirkby.

“Steven has appeared with the BBC Philharmonic, the Deutsches Symphonie Orchester, San Francisco Symphony, as well as many prestigious groups such as the Bach Ensemble, the New London Consort, and at Carnegie Hall.

“They are accompanied on the harpsichord by Thomas Gerber, who is harpsichordist of the Indianapolis Chamber Orchestra and has recorded for the Dorian, Concordia, and Catalpa labels.”

The concert takes place at 7.30pm on Saturday, August 8. Tickets, which include wine and canapés, are £25 on 01903 816205, online via the website www.stmarysbramber.co.uk or email [email protected].
